Four Steps to Massive Action if You’re Into Changing Lives

You have all the wisdom within you to change lives. I know it, you know it…but do the people you could be supporting know it? I’m sure you agree that if you’re not sharing your Unique Brilliance with the world in the way you’re meant to, you’re doing a huge disservice to those who need your help.

If you’re like most holistic professionals, you want to have a big impact, be in alignment with your purpose in life, do great things to help others, be able to follow your passion…and earn a fantastic living in the process, too! So what’s holding you back?

Do you feel like you’re being held back by any of these pesky, nagging feelings…..
• A feeling of overwhelm about what to do next in your business…and how to do it right?
• Fears of how to make it month-to-month and pay your bills without having to go back and get a “real” job?
• Envy that other practitioners and coaches seem to be figuring it out and getting ahead?
• Worry that next year you might make even less than this year while possibly working even harder?
• Confusion about how to effectively and authentically connect with people who want to pay you for your services?

These are all normal “symptoms” of entrepreneurial overload. No, there not fun that’s for sure, but the good news is….you can move out of this overwhelm into more clarity with a few simple steps that I’ll share with you in this post.

First let’s be clear on something.

The answer is: Yes, it’s absolutely possible! And I know it can work for you because I was once in your shoes. Have you heard my story yet?

A Debrief on My Story

As a holistic professional myself, I struggled for several years in my business to find clients, develop marketing that worked, create partnerships…and ultimately make an income that would support me …I was totally exhausted and freaked out that I had failed or would never be able to figure this all out. But then I took massive action and recommitted myself to my passion. And I finally learned the tools to create a thriving business. But there was still one thing missing that I want to share with you….and this is HUGE!

Even with all of the tools and systems in place to create a thriving, six-figure business, there was still one thing missing for me that was standing between me and this beautiful idea of my ideal business. My mentors and coaches taught me all of the proven business tools for entrepreneurs, I implemented them, they worked….but something still wasn’t quite right.

Here’s the thing….

The tools were for businesses that were outside of the holistic field. While they worked, there was something that was off. They didn’t speak to me at a core level. Has that every happened to you? My mind said “Yes, that makes sense”, but my inner voice said, “That doesn’t feel quite right.”

It’s as if all of the steps were there…but it was the wrong staircase!

On a deeper level, while I saw these proven business tools working for me, they felt “salesy”, “foreign” and even down-right “annoying”. I wanted success, but I wasn’t willing to sell my soul for it, literally.

I knew that there was a way to bridge the business world with a holistic sense of living and being. And so I went on to craft these business success tools combined with my entrepreneurial experience and personal proven formulas into my own Holistic Business System, one that allowed me to be authentic, conscious and completely myself!

I want to share with you some of the steps I took to gain clarity and to move forward very quickly so you, too, can get clear, focused and take Massive action this year.

Here’s what I did….

1. Authenticity in Business – I knew deep down that in order to do what I really loved, I had to be me. I had to be completely authentic and have real conversations with people. But I also knew that proven marketing techniques worked, so I figured out how to blend them with who I was and what people needed to make a change. So when it came time to share with potential clients what I did and how I could help them, it was as if I didn’t even have to sell anything. When clients were asking me how to get started with my programs, I knew I was on to something big.

2. Take Action Clients – I also identified that the clients I wanted to work with most were people who were ready to make decisions and take action for their life. They weren’t in a place of despair and immobility but rather they wanted support to have breakthroughs right away…they didn’t have time to waste. These were people that were willing to invest in my programs and were the same people who saw major results because they were so committed and excited to be doing this work. They were ready for good things to come their way. And it meant I didn’t have to spend time in conversations that were draining me anymore. What a relief!

3. Lasting Relationships – I realized that I didn’t want to have to go looking for new clients every month. How exhausting! I figured out that if I focused on creating community and providing value to my current clients and people in my world, I was able to build lasting relationships. It seems simple, but most people don’t do this. And it made all the difference to know exactly how to create lasting relationships that were win-win’s for everyone (my clients, my potential clients and me). Plus, it felt great!

4. My Best Talents – I also realized I couldn’t be everywhere and do everything in my business. I quickly learned that wearing different hats in my business would not serve me and that in order to do what I really loved most, I had to focus my time on that! This allowed me to create something huge…a little thing called Leverage. You’ve heard of it I’m sure. Having leverage in my business means I get to focus on what I do best and help others who I work with to do the same. While making your first move to greater leverage seems like a big leap (like hiring your first assistant or outsourcing your web design) its essential to your success. Don’t be afraid to focus your time on your talents…its the best way to get to where you want to go.
