Gratitude In Your Holistic Business

This time of year is always a time to think about what you’re grateful for. While my intention is to focus often on all that I am grateful for in my life, there’s something very special about taking time for gratitude this time of year. There’s one month ahead and eleven already passed by. And reflecting on all that makes you glad to be alive for each of the moments of the year is powerful.

I like to think of all of the things I’m grateful for in my personal life…..

*My loving husband
*Our family and friends
*Our comfortable home
*Delicious, healthy food
*And some very exciting new news to be grateful for this year….
A baby on the way!! (For those of you who haven’t heard yet!!)

Yes, lots to be grateful for this year!

I also like to give thanks for all that I’m grateful for in my professional life….

*YOU! My wonderful subscribers, colleagues and members who are on this path with me – THANK YOU!
*Our community of Wellness Pro’s who are creating amazing businesses in this world – YOU ROCK!
*The ability to connect with people all over the world
*The opportunity to create and follow my dreams everyday
*And so many other things that make being a holistic entrepreneur so life-changing for me.

Showing Your Gratitude

I know you’re thinking what you’re grateful for this year, too. And probably one thing on your list is your clients. Are you thinking about how you can offer up some thanks to your clients and customers this time of year…to show them how much you’ve appreciated them in your life this last year?

You may see that some people offer discounts on their products and services as a “heartfelt thanks” this time of year. I don’t know about you, but I find that sort of misses the boat, since you’re asking them to purchase something from you as a thank you to them…it doesn’t make that much sense to me.

But have you thought about giving away something for free? You know, for real “free”…no strings attached, just a special gift from your heart.

I gave a presentation last week on Holistic Marketing: 5 Secrets to Attract More Clients to Your Wellness Practice (You can find it Here now for Free!!). One one of the things I talked about was giving away content and value for free to your potential clients. One of the participants asked a live question about this (which you’ll hear in the recording) in which she was struggling with giving away her information for free.

It’s a common thing that comes up for Wellness Pro’s. Afterall, the information you have to share is very valuable. And it’s what your paying clients are paying you for, right? WRONG.. Did you know your clients are NOT paying you for information. They can find information anywhere today. A quick Google search will turn up the answer to about almost anything. So what on earth are they paying you for then? It’s your Support. The support you give them is Invaluable. You can’t find personal, authentic guidance and support just anywhere.

Stop Safe-Guarding Your Knowledge!

What does this mean when it comes to giving away your information for free then? It means you have to stop safe-guarding your knowledge and release it! You have to share your expertise to its fullest capacity. And when you do, you won’t have to feel sick to your stomach that you gave away the bank…instead, if you watch and listen, you’ll see that your openness leads to an Abundance Mindset. It shows your clients that you’re the go-to person in your field. You’re confident, you’re giving, you’re the resource for them, and you’re here to help them on their journey.

And when this happens, your willingness to share your stuff attracts even more to you.

Giving Away Your Knowledge is A Lot Like Money

Giving away your knowledge is a lot like the energy of money. When we hold too tight to money, it slips away. When we realize money is an energy, and we tap into that energy, it flows to us. I’m sure you’ve experienced this on some level before in your business and in your life.

The message her is: Don’t cling so tight to your knowledge that you’re blocked from giving it.

Think abundantly this Thanksgiving and give away some knowledge and content that you wouldn’t normally provide. How about…..

*A Client Handout
*A Resource Guide
*A Chapter in your book or ebook
*An Audio program or teleseminar recording
*Or something that you think would really help them out this time of year

Share it and watch what happens! You’ll feel good, your clients will feel good and that energy will spark amazing things both for you and the recipient of your gift.

Thriving Together,

Hi Gertude, I like your 31 health tips idea! Keep in mind, you don’t have to reinvent the wheel, you can definitely use the same content and automate this so you can use it year after year. Best, Suzanne

Suzanne, I am so grateful to connect with such a purposeful and meaningful woman. I personally write down every day 5 things I am grateful for now in my life and 5 things that are part of my goals that I am grateful to bring into my life. This practise continues to open my heart and eyes to all the abundance I have around me. I consider a connection with you part of that growing abundance. Namaste and abundant blessings.
