4 Simple Steps to More Fun & Freedom in Your Wellness Business

As a wellness professional, coach or holistic entrepreneur, I’m sure you’ll agree there’s things you LOVE to do in your business….and then there’s some things that you, well, frankly you’d rather NEVER have to do ever, ever again.

The funny thing is, the things you don’t love to do are usually some of the most important things that make your business run and grow. Like Marketing and Selling. Does your stomach turn just hearing those words? No need to worry, there’s some easy steps you can follow to share your gift with the world.

The name of the game, in business and in life, is figuring out how to do more of what you love doing and less of what doesn’t feed your soul.

So how do you have more FUN, do more of what you LOVE and create a THRIVING Business?

Follow The 4 Simple Steps to More Fun and Freedom in your Business:

1. Focus on What You do Best –


It’s easy to think you have to do everything that comes your way, especially in your business. You don’t want to miss out on opportunities, right? But what if you readjusted your efforts to only focus on what you do best. That means each day you are operating at your highest vibration because you’re in alignment with what you really love doing. Making this decision seems natural, but it’s all of the other stuff that gets in the way…stuff that has to be done by someone! Outsourcing things that aren’t your skill set are really important so you have more time and energy to focus on what you do best. The biggest obstacle that comes up for Wellness Professionals and Holistic Entrepreneurs when I say this is: “But Suzanne, I can’t afford to hire anyone in my business.” Sound familiar? If you can’t afford it now, you’ll never have the resources to afford it later. Agreed? So here’s what you do: Just start with one small thing you can outsource. Maybe it’s scheduling or imputing your newsletter into your email management system. It’s like taking one small step in the direction you want to go. And then you take another….and another…and another.

2. Create Passive Income –


One of the things that can help you finally afford to get support with your business is having more dollars coming in the door. If you’re a solo professional who mostly works one-on-one with clients, you’re going to want to create other revenue sources around your core business.

Do you ever find yourself saying the same things to your clients over and over again? Even if you have unique clients with unique problems, how many times does some of the same advice help different people? It’s because in health and wellness, there’s a big chunk of things that everyone should be doing to feel better. The remaining chunk is meant for customizing.

So how to share the big chunk? Instead of sounding like a broken record over and over again, why not document your support in a system? Your system can look like any of the following:

*Teleseminar series
*Audio program
*Video series
*Ebooks
*Home Study Courses…just to name a few.

You create it once and share it hundreds or thousands of times.

3. Share your System –


Sharing your system so you can help more people is your next step. This is where Marketing and Selling come in. But don’t run away just yet. Know this: Marketing is just about sharing your gift with the world to people who need your help. And Selling is just about having a conversation with those who have already said they want your help. If you’ve already created a community of raving fans, i.e. your clients who have seen successes with you and are looking for more, you’ve got a great place to start. From there, you’ll want to expand your base. One of my favorite ways to do this is through Joint Venture Partnerships. Creating partnerships works best when your partner has a complementary business to yours and his/her clients would be your ideal clients. Start by making a list of ideal Joint Venture Partners. Then don’t delay in contacting them to find out how you can support one another.

4. Surround yourself with Like-Minded BIG Thinkers


Do you ever get stuck in your head? It’s those moments that keep us from moving forward. Don’t get stuck! You need to surround yourself with big thinkers, especially if you don’t have any friends or family members that fit the bill. If you don’t, you’ll find yourself slipping back into old belief systems and non-supportive habits. Having a Mentor and a mastermind of big thinkers to support you makes all the difference if you want to make big leaps forward.
